Phase I -Prompt
In the first phase of the consumer interaction, the consumer is exposed to a visual or audio advertisement that features a qText prompt.
Phase II - Request
Using their mobile phone the consumer is able to immediately interact with the advertising message by texting a codeword to a shortcode.
Phase III – Response
Upon receiving the codeword, the application is able to immediately understand the consumer’s request and respond with instant automated information. This information can include details about a product or company, contact information, promotional codes for special discounts, etc.
Phase IV – Continued Dialogue
Using an automated application, the consumer’s mobile number is captured to allow the system to reply with the requested information. Depending on the needs of the advertiser, the automated system can schedule future text communications to the same number or forward the mobile number to a sales representative for a live call.
